| Diane
Musselwhite grew up in Lake Wales, Florida, in the heart of citrus
country. After high school, she graduated from Orange Memorial Hospital
School of Nursing as class president. Her Bachelors of Nursing degree
was accomplished with honors from University of North Florida , and
her Masters of Education degree with high honors from Mississippi
State University . She maintains National Certification as a Nurse
Practitioner specialized in Women's Health Care, from the National
Certification Corporation.
Diane is a veteran of the United States Air Force where
she completed her Nurse Practitioner Education and Internship at the
Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences. During her military
service, she served in numerous locations worldwide including Germany
and the Panama Canal . Additional training included Flight Nurse School
and Combat Casualty Care. During these travels, she not only accumulated
many years of experience as a nurse practitioner, but served as Chief
of a Primary Care Clinic, and Chief of a very busy OB/GYN clinic.
After completion of her military duty, January 2000,
she headed back home to central Florida to make Clermont her permanent
home. She has 2 children and is married to Clyde , who is a Telecommunications
technician at the Disney property. Her son resides in Jacksonville
, and her daughter in Honolulu , Hawaii .
Currently, she will be seeing and treating patients
on Monday and Wednesday, with extended hours on Monday. She specializes
in the evaluation (colposcopy) and management of abnormal Pap smear
patients, and is experienced with treating numerous gynecologic problems.
Her hobbies include music, playing clarinet and Scottish Bagpipes.
Diane is also licensed as an aesthetician (facial care specialist).
When not at work, she and her husband enjoy the company of their 2
Cornish Rex cats. |
