Dr. Shelley Coleman Glover
is a native of Washington, D.C. She attended Immaculate Preparatory High
School in the District of Columbia. She attended college at Columbia University
in New York City where she obtained a Bachelors of Art in Biology-Psychology.
Dr. Glover then set off to California where she lived for ten years.
Dr. Glover received her medical education at the University of California,
San Francisco. Interested in learning more about the nation’s healthcare
system, she obtained a Master’s in Public Health in the field of Maternal
and Child Health at the University of California at Berkeley. She then completed
her medical training in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology at King-Drew
Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA.
Eager to return to the East Coast, Dr. Glover opted to move to Fredericksburg,
Virginia. She joined two other physicians at Fredericksburg OB/GYN, Inc.
in August 1997. Dr. Glover subsequently met her husband, Mark who is a Business
Consultant in the field of Information Technology. Due to excellent business
opportunities in the Central Florida area, the couple decided to relocate
to Clermont where they have both started their own companies. Although Dr.
Glover has spent many joyous years delivering babies, she has opted at this
time to devote her time strictly to Gynecology and Women’s Health.
Dr. Glover, her husband, Mark and their energetic cat, Ashley moved to
Clermont in December of 2000. In november of 2002 they were blessed with
the addition of their first
child Mia Nicole Glover. They are happy to make Clermont their home. |
